Through my healing, I started writing my story: honestly, only with the intention that nobody but myself would ever read it.
But I quickly had a few realizations:
First, this book is good… and getting it out healed me.
Second, how many people have a similar story, and how can I help them heal by telling it for them?
Third, people need to hear these stories—the good, the bad, the ugly— and know they aren’t alone.
